The Education Services Department provides professional development and support to its members through workshops, institutes, networking committees, on-site technical assistance, grant sourcing and grant writing.  Examples of services which may be accessed include an Early Childhood Family Education consortium, the No Child Left Behind and Minnesota Academic Standards consortium, the Cisco Area Training Center and other technology workshops, a Principals' Leadership Academy, Student Enrichment Programs such as the Young Writers' Conference and the Lakes Country Honors Program, Academic Challenges such as Knowledge Bowl, Spelling Bee, Inventor's Congress and Cyberknowledge, Media Loan Services, and Understanding the Culture of Poverty.
