The Lakes Country COMPASS School Culture and Climate supports districts across Minnesota in fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments where all students and staff can thrive. We strive to create school communities where every individual feels a sense of belonging, engagement, and connection, regardless of background or circumstance.

We partner with schools and districts to implement culturally responsive, evidence-based practices that strengthen school climate and culture. Our approach focuses on building positive relationships, promoting equity, and supporting the academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of all students through inclusive and restorative practices.

Support is customized to meet your unique needs, offering a variety of services, including professional learning, coaching, and system-level planning. We aim to strengthen school systems and practices by fostering a positive climate that improves student engagement, attendance, achievement, and overall well-being.

COMPASS support is available at no cost to districts seeking to strengthen their school culture and climate efforts. We believe in creating welcoming, safe, and equitable environments where all students and staff are valued, supported, and able to succeed.
