Lakes Country COMPASS Culturally Responsive Instructional Leadership supports districts across Minnesota in strengthening leadership practices that promote equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environments. We strive to help school and district leaders build systems where every student feels valued, supported, and connected to rigorous learning opportunities.

We partner with schools and districts to support leadership practices grounded in cultural responsiveness, critical self-reflection, and inclusive school improvement. Our approach helps leaders strengthen school environments, support culturally responsive teaching and learning, and engage students, families, and communities in meaningful ways.

We tailor support to your needs, offering professional learning, coaching, implementation guidance, and systems-level planning. We aim to strengthen leadership capacity and school systems so that culturally responsive practices are embedded throughout teaching, learning, and decision-making.

COMPASS support is available at no cost to districts, charter schools, and Tribal schools across Minnesota. We believe in fostering school communities where leadership, instruction, and systems work together to create equitable outcomes for every student.
